April 10, 2016 - Man Cave - Brown County Art Guild, 48 S. Van Buren Street, Nashville, IN - 2-4pm; Performance: 2:30pm - Tickets: $20 - DDBD is thrilled to be a part of this first ever event! The Guild is partnering with Harley Davidson of Bloomington and their Jump Start machine that enables beginners to experience a big Harley without risk, Big Woods Brewing Company, and DDBD at 2:30pm, Baila Baila Flamenco at 3:00pm, and the Hudsucker Posse at 3:30pm. Come on down dancers for an afternoon of motorcycles, beer, dancing, and other fine arts. Award-winning Artist Member Lynn Dunbar will be on hand to capture part of the event. This hafla, or belly dance party, helps raise money and awareness for Middle Way House, Bloomington's shelter for battered women and children. Troupe member Laura will be doing a special solo! Plus other incredible and talented Bloomington belly dancers and musicians will be there to bring joy to your heart and a smile to your lips.

CASAblanca is an evening to celebrate and support Monroe County Court Appointed Special Advocates. CASAblanca is a Moroccan inspired evening to include casino gaming (entertainment only), light Moroccan food, signature cocktails, music, dancing and other fun activities. Dressing in character (Moroccan or movie-wise) is strongly encouraged! Of all the gin joints, in all the towns, in all the world we want YOU to step into ours!
Join us in creating our vision of a community in which every child thrives in a safe, permanent home.
Monroe County CASA is a volunteer-powered program which provides representation in juvenile court for child victims of physical abuse, sexual abuse, and neglect.
The program recruits, screens, trains, and supervises adult community members who volunteer their time to serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs), with full legal authority set forth by the State of Indiana.
CASAs provide advocacy to child victims to ensure that they remain at the forefront of the court proceedings and find a safe, permanent home as quickly as possible.
This fundraiser will help keep CASA going! We can't wait to get our shimmy on for this great cause!

February 29, 2008 - Tribal:Pura Gala Event - 8 pm. John Waldron Arts Center - DDBD and the Bloomington Area Arts Council will once again host Tribal:Pura. This event includes a gala dance performance and two days of workshops. The workshops are on American Tribal Style Belly Dance given by Carolena Nericcio and Megha Gavin. Don't miss this event!

November 10, 2007 - Morgan County Public Library Demonstration - 1:30 pm. - We will will perform, talk a little about the history and significance of belly dancing and then teach the audience a few basic moves. We are excited to be bringing our love of belly dance to Morgan County.

November 16, 2005 - Arabian Nights - This event will help raise money for the Heart of Sailing Foundation. Heart of Sailing teaches sailing to cognitively impaired children. It is a branch of the inernational organization “Au Coeur Des Voiles.” Margaret will be dancing at this event with some of her Performance Belly Dance class students.

This festival also marked a first for DDBD as it teamed-up with Tribal Bloom Belly Dance to form Different Bloom Belly Dance.

October 29, 2004, 12:30 am- 10th Anniversary Erotic Arts Ball, Indianapolis, IN - The event producers begged to see our choreographed rendition of "Voulez-vous Coucher Avec Moi, Ce Soir" ("Lady Marmalade" Moulin Rouge rendition) again! We are happy to oblige! This milestone anniversary event spans three levels of a huge 1890's gothic revival building in downtown Indianapolis. The evening features a juried art show and exhibition, performance art, two bands, a DJ, and Indy's first public underground dungeon. Tickets are on sale now.

We Have A Winner!! Oscar Rios - Self-Titled "Nerd Hubby to a New York Egyptian cabaret & American Tribal Dancer" won our Gencon Contest!
